Mr. Spanos is an experienced financial advisory professional who works closely with the firm’s senior managing directors. He has experience with bankruptcy, distressed M&A, Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors, board advisory engagements, due diligence, and distressed corporate finance.
Mr. Spanos’ recent deal experience consists of several advisory engagements including a Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee in the sale of several Critical Access Hospitals, the board of a venture-backed startup with $250MM in revenue, and the distressed sale of a machine-learning startup.
Prior to Sherwood Partners, Mr. Spanos was an associate in the equities division of Wedbush Securities. Prior to that, he held positions in private equity and wealth management.
Mr. Spanos graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in economics, is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst candidate.
