Andrew De Camara has 15 years experience in strategic planning and financial planning including corporate restructurings, mergers & acquisitions and financial forecasting and sales forecasting.
Prior to joining Sherwood, he was Vice-President of a B2B exchange for an Internet start-up valued at $190 million. He assisted in raising $18 million in private equity financing and has successfully renegotiated $90 million in secured debt and unsecured debt. Mr. De Camara's previous restructuring experience includes a Debtor-in-Possession for a major airline and Collateral Pool Agreements for real-estate holdings.
Mr. De Camara has also worked in Global Retail Business Development, where he managed accounts whose sales exceeded $1 billion annually. He proceeded to develop and implement sales planning tools for 150 account managers worldwide. Mr. De Camara's background also includes consumer products. He has instituted sales forecasting tools that utilize statistical modeling to produce optimal purchase and flow of materials through supply chains.
Mr. De Camara holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University.
